When our children are old enough to stop taking naps, but we still like to have some quiet time, we like to call it "rest time". They are each separated into different rooms and take time to play on the Ipad, read some books or play quietly with a few toys. At the beginning of summer, we moved Kenna into the room with the other two girls. We figured it was a good time to stop her naps so that she would go to bed a little easier. (When she has naps, she tends to stay up late talking and singing in her bed!) Kenna happens to like the toy room and she is really good about quietly playing in there. However, sometimes it gets a little too quiet and this is how we find her. I guess she still needs some naps!
I love how she is still holding on to her purse!
In this picture, we let her watch a show in our room. Without us knowing, she went and got her blanket and pillow and fell asleep watching "Sophia".
Where's Kenna?? If you look closely, you can see her still holding her toys.
