I absolutely love going to open house for school. I enjoy getting to see all of the fun things they have been working on and they love showing mom, dad, grandma and siblings everything they have been doing. We were really blessed this year with great teachers and wonderful classrooms!

Mother's Day Tea
I was so blessed this year that both of my girls invited me to a Mother's Day Tea so I went from one classroom right to the next one for the celebrations. It was seriously one of the best presents ever!! They both performed some songs for all of the mother's and gave us little treats afterwards. One of my favorite Mother's Day to date.

Mother's Day 2015
Mother's Day is always a little bitter sweet for me since Jacob usually has to work. He always tries really hard to make it as special as he can while he is with me but this year he really did an awesome job! Since he had Saturday off due to some work scheduling, I woke up to my family celebrating Mother's Day a day early! It was so much fun...I got breakfast in bed followed by presents and cards, I enjoyed a movie with my family at the theater, and then I got to spend the rest of the day on a date with my one and only. Talk about a perfect day!!

Daddy/Daughter Project!
Emma had to design and make a house that would be suitable for one of the pigs in "The Three Little Pigs" story. It had to withstand the "wind" from the wolf (which was a blow dryer!). Emma immediately said she wanted to make one out of wood with daddy. Of course dad was excited to show her how to use his tools. They had a lot of fun together! (Of course I forgot to get a pic of the final project!)
