Katie's 32nd Birthday!

This year my birthday was really great because nothing happened!!  For those that know me, you know what I mean!  I got to enjoy the morning with my girls and look at the cards they made me.  And then I got to enjoy a nice evening of dinner and a movie with Jacob, MaryBeth and Nathan.  We had dinner at BJ's so I could take advantage of the free birthday pazookie.  MaryBeth and I ordered the exact same salad, minus the exact same things, and then the exact same pazookie.  We laughed and told the waitress we were sisters.  We had let them know it was my birthday but she must of gotten confused because they came out with free birthday pazookies with a candle on them for both MaryBeth and I.  I laughed and whispered to MaryBeth to just go with it because they must have thought we were twins!  We had a good laugh over it!

Big sisters

I just have to say that the girls love their little brother! They love to hold him and fight over who is sitting closer to him. They talk and sing to him when he is crying and Kenna loves to have him hold her "pinky pie".

Pictures of Lincoln

Just needed to throw in some cute pics of our little Lincoln!!

Build-a-Bear Workshop

Our girls did such a great job during the school year and on their report cards that we gave them a little surprise on the last day of school.  For the first time, we took them to the Build-a-bear workshop.  They loved it!!  Emma picked out a My Little Pony and put a cute tutu on her, Maddie picked out a rainbow colored bear and put a cute, rainbow dress on her, and Kenna picked out a Hello Kitty and put a "Sophia the First" dress on her.  On a side note, I tried and tried to get Kenna to pick out a really cute Hello Kitty outfit to match the kitty but she refused.  The second that she saw the Sophia dress she insisted on having it. I kept trying but Jacob told me to give up.  We both knew that when Kenna puts her mind to something, there's no going back!

Maddie's Preschool Promotion

Maddie graduated from preschool this week and we went to her little promotion. We are so proud of all that she has accomplished this year.  Last summer, I tried to teach her the alphabet and I thought she would never learn it!!  But she now knows all of her letters and sounds and is ready to start Kindergarten.  She can't wait!
