Lincoln's 2nd Birthday!

Lincoln turned 2 this month and we had a wonderful party with family and friends.  We ate yummy food and enjoyed visiting with everyone that came.  Lincoln was a little overwhelmed opening presents and wanted to immediately play with every toy that he opened.  He was the most excited about the tablet that we bought him and wouldn't even eat his cake because he was too busy playing.  Here are 10 things about Lincoln:

1. He is still struggling with his speech.  He just started speech therapy and we have already seen some improvements.
2. He LOVES to play on the starfall app on my phone which is why we got him his own tablet. 
3. He likes to watch Jake and the Neverland Pirates on tv and can even turn it on himself.
4. He really likes to play with puzzles.
5. He loves to eat spaghetti, yogurt drops, dried strawberries, lucky charms, ranch potato chips and the squeeze toddler foods.
6. He loves to be outdoors and is currently fascinated by sprinklers.
7. His favorite song is Twinkle, Twinkle and he will wake up and sing it in the middle of the night or at six in the morning.
8.  He is probably our most stubborn and difficult child but he can also make you melt with those blue eyes.
9. He is boy all the way through and loves to play with any type of car or tools.
10. He is a definitely a grandma's boy and prefers her over anybody else, including Mom!!

Stake Activity Day

Emma got to participate in the Stake Activity Day for the first time this year. The theme was "Every Girl is a Princess". She got served a beautiful lunch, had her nails done, got a facial, and learned what it meant to be a daughter of God. What a wonderful experience she had!

Big Boy Bed!!

It was time for Lincoln to move out of his crib and into a big boy bed! He did such a good job transitioning! He only got out of bed a few times that first hour and he has been great ever since. He actually really loves his bed and I think he realizes how much more comfortable it is than his tiny crib.

General Conference

Even though General Conference was challenging this year due to a lively two year old boy, I have to document how good the girls are doing. Emma even watched both sessions on Sunday with me.

Cousin time

My girls love their cousins Sammy and Jocilyn. This is Sammy reading them a story that he wrote and illustrated. They are all so enthralled by him!!
