Emma Turns 8!

Emma turned 8 years old this week.  Her baptism is going to be next month and we are so excited!  For her birthday, we took her to dinner and then she decided to have Rylee spend the night and have some fun instead of a party.  We took them to the movies and to lunch at Chic Fil A where the manager gave them all free stuffed cows for her birthday!  I love that the girls have so much fun with their cousins! Here are 10 things about Emma:

1. She is becoming a great helper around the house.
2. She loves to listen to music.
3. She is an amazing reader and reads a couple of books a week.
4. She has lost 9 teeth.
5. She is extremely goofy and has the funniest fake laugh.
6. Her favorite meal is meatballs and her favorite place to eat is Red Robin.
7. She has a real problem with personal space but we are working on it.  :)
8. She loves to look at the maps and weather on my phone and has recently asked to text dad for me.
9. She still loves all things girly from barbies, to dolls, to jewelry, and my little ponies.
10. She is a great big sister and loves to play with her siblings.

Mulligans

It took us a while but we finally took the girls to Mulligans to get the tokens they earned from their report cards.  Our favorite part of the day was playing each other in air hockey!

Madison's Broken Arm

We got the dreaded call from Madison's school that she had fallen off the monkey bars at school and it didn't look good.  We quickly went and picked her up and then took her straight to the doctors.  Yep!  It was broken in both bones on her RIGHT arm.  Of course!  The next day her friend Tatum came over to bring her some donuts and a "Get Well" card.  So cute! We worked hard and she was eventually able to kind of write with it and she was a trooper the whole time.

Madison's Playing Softball

We signed Madison up for softball and we were all excited!  We got to go to two practices before she broke her arm (story to come later.)  Oh well!  There's always next season.
