Trampoline Time

We have had our trampoline packed away for two years so we finally decided it was time to pull it out and let the girls play on it.  Daddy put it all together and then we had a great time as a family playing on it.  Lincoln totally loved the girls jumping him all over the place....he is definitely a boy!

Lincoln's First Haircut!

Daddy gave Lincoln his first official haircut.  I can't believe how much hair came off of his head and now he looks like a little boy!

Emma gets her ears pierced!

Emma has been begging us for months to get her ears pierced so we finally let her.  I wanted to wait until I felt she was sure she wanted them.  I wasn't sure how she was going to react when they did the first ear but she did so well!  She just had a shocked look on her face and said, "Wow....that hurt!"  But she was brave and did the other ear no problem!  She was so excited and she loves her new earrings!

Cherry Chip Cake

When I was growing up one of my family's favorite treat was cherry chip cake.  It is very difficult to find in stores but a few months ago someone made my brother a batch of cherry chip cupcakes.  I have no idea where they got it from but my brother made sure to text us a picture every single time he ate one of those cupcakes.  For my birthday, my mom randomly found some cherry chip cake at a store near her.  We had to take some pictures and send it to Jeff.  Lucky for him, we made another one for a family get together so he and Spencer could enjoy some too.

Beach Trip!

Every summer we go to the beach usually just one time.  We always have so much fun but it is such work with 4 kids that one time is usually enough for me.  This year we went to celebrate Parker's birthday.  It was such a weird weather day and it rained part of the time but we had a great time anyways.  I always enjoy going with my entire family. We played in the water, made sand castles, explored some tide pools and enjoyed yummy food.

Father's Day 2015

Jacob had to work on Father's Day this year so we crammed all of our fun into the first half of the day!   We had french toast for breakfast, opened presents, went to church, ate roast for dinner and then had ice cream cake for dessert. We love our daddy and all that he does for us!

Madison Turns 6!

We celebrated Madison's 6th birthday this week by having family and friends come over and spend the day with us.  The kids had a lot of fun in the jumper and they played in there for hours!  Here are 10 things about Madison:

1. She is the best big sister to Lincoln and absolutely loves him.
2. She is deathly afraid of bees even though she has never been stung.
3. She just finished Kindergarten and is reading books all by herself.
4. She still loves to sing and perform.  We can count on her doing a great job in any performance.
5. Her favorite meal is still meatballs and chocolate cake.
6. She is the best snuggler and will come and snuggle with me anytime I ask.
7. She doesn't like to make her bed so she will make it up and then sleep on top of everything so she doesn't have to make it in the morning.
8. She bites her nails but tries really hard not to and will show me her nails anytime there is any showing.
9. She has now learned how to follow the instructions on lego sets and build them all by herself.
10. She LOVES school and can't wait to go everyday and she is very excited to start 1st grade.
