I was really bummed this year that I had to miss Emma's field trip due to state testing. So I was happy that I at least got to go to Madison's. We had a lot of fun at the park and Kenna and Lincoln even got to enjoy it as well. Madison's favorite part was the water balloon fight at the end.

School Awards
Every year each teacher can pick out 7 awards to give to the student's in their class since they don't do monthly awards. We were blessed this year to have both girls selected! And, they were each selected to receive award.......the citizenship award for having great behavior, helping others, and being an example to others. We were very proud!

End of year Disneyland trip
One more Disneyland post! We took the girls to Disneyland as a surprise to them for doing such a good job this year in school and getting awesome report cards. We told them we were taking them to school but just kept driving. They never even realized it until we pulled up to Disneyland! We had a great day of playing and then they got to pick one toy to take home with them. This trip was special for two reasons: we finally got to meet Elsa and Anna (it has taken us forever) and Kenna went on the Tower of Terror and her reaction was priceless.

Lincoln has a big head!
It comes as no surprise that Lincoln has a big head. He has had it since he was in the womb. My doctor would always comment that his head was in the 99th percentile but that even though she kept looking, she couldn't see anything else wrong other than it was just big. After Lincoln was born, it was still huge so his doctor wanted to do an ultrasound. Everything came back normal. Months later, it was still huge so his doctor wanted to do an MRI just to really make sure. Every doctor we saw for different occasions wanted to measure his head because they thought it was too big. So we agreed to the MRI just to really make sure. Unfortunately, you have to be so still that babies have to be put to sleep for it to happen. I got to go to the room with him and watched him be put to sleep. Not my favorite thing to witness!! They did the MRI and Lincoln was not happy trying to wake up from that. My favorite pictures are him in his car seat on the way home. The doctor called that afternoon to let us know that all was well, and Lincoln just has a really big head!

Open House - Madison Kindergarten and Emma 2nd grade
I absolutely love going to open house for school. I enjoy getting to see all of the fun things they have been working on and they love showing mom, dad, grandma and siblings everything they have been doing. We were really blessed this year with great teachers and wonderful classrooms!
