I can't believe that Emma is 7 years old and next year she will be baptized. Time is going by so fast. We like to keep it simple and just have our friends and family come over and enjoy time together. It was 110 degrees so we had to keep everyone inside which was interesting with that many kids. But we survived and everyone had fun. Here are 10 facts about Emma right now:
1. She is a great reader and is now reading small chapter books on her own.
2. She has officially lost two teeth now and a third is on its way out.
3. She is amazing at following directions to build legos and literally got about 10 sets for her birthday.
4. She loves to wear skirts or dresses to school and it is hard to make her wear anything else.
5. She has been taking swimming lessons and has done a great job and just recently started volleyball. We are hoping that she will be able to pick one and get really good at it.
6. She loves to do hair whether it be a doll or a person. She also loves to put her hair in a ponytail which kills me because not all of her hair stays in the ponytail.
7. Her favorite foods are meatballs, italian chicken, french toast, pancakes, pizza with sausage, green beans, chex mix, ice cream sandwiches and fruit by the foot.
8.Her best friends are her sisters and her cousin Rylee. We let Rylee spend the night for her birthday and she thought it was the best thing ever.
9. She loves Family Home Evening and is my constant reminder that it is Monday night and we need to have FHE.
10. We are often hard on her because she is the oldest and we expect so much from her but we know she will accomplish great things one day!

First Day of School
Emma is officially a 2nd grader and Madison is now in Kindergarten! Maddie is in the morning kindergarten class and she has two teachers that share the class, Mrs. Easterly and Mrs. Cunningham. They have been teaching together for 5 years and it looks like it is going to be a wonderful class. Emma has Mrs. Menasco and I can already tell she is going to be great. It is so fun to watch them at the same school now. Emma walks Maddie to her playground in the morning before heading to her own. These pictures are of my cute school girls and their little sister who wants to be like them. She had to go get her new Sophia backpack on so she could be just like her sisters! Aunt Bethie and Uncle Jason were staying with us so they got to join in on the fun too!

Makenna's 3rd Birthday
All of our birthdays are in the summer time so I feel like we are partying all summer long! This time, it is for Makenna's 3rd birthday! Our family and friends came and we all had a good time talking, laughing and playing. Here are 10 things about Kenna:
1. She is obsessed with Sophia the princess and almost every present she got was Sophia.
2. Every day I think she can't get any more stubborn.....and then she proves me wrong.
3. She is already starting to outgrow her 3T clothes and I have never had a child do that before it was time.
4. She is also obsessed with pigs. Stuffed pigs, toy pigs, pigs in books, pigs on tv....you name it...she loves them all!
5. Just recently she started giving me grumpy faces on cue and it is hilarious. They pretty much look just like Jacob.
6. She is the most stubborn child I have. However, she is also the best behaved. Sounds crazy but she is sooooo good when we take her places. Also, when at home without her sisters, she will play with herself for hours. And when it is "rest time", she will go in the toy room and play quietly until we tell her its time to come out.
7. She loves fruit by the foot, mini oreos, gogurts, strawberries, milk, strawberry nutrigrain bars, and meatballs.
8. She loves her baby brother Lincoln and likes to play with his feet.
9. Her favorite movies are the animal Baby Einsteins. She will watch them over and over again if I let her.
10. She may be stubborn, but she is also the cutest 3 year old I know and her smile can melt anyone!
This is what she looked like when we tried to sing to her. She is totally shy!!
The stuffed piggy we bought her....clearly she loved it!!
The piggy blanket Aunt Bethie made her.....she loves it.
