Christmas Eve

We had a wonderful time at Aunt MB and Uncle Nathan's house eating yummy food and cinnamon rolls.  We came home and daddy read "The Night Before Christmas" and then I read our new book for the year "How To Catch a Santa".  This year it was really fun because the kids decided they wanted to sleep together for Christmas Eve so they all slept in the toy room.  I love that they wanted to be together!  I think this might be a new tradition!

Christmas Activities

We always pack in the activities for Christmas!  We have traditions of things that we do every year that I like to continue.  Here are some of the things that we did:

Deputy of the 3rd Quarter!

We are so proud of Jacob and his award as DEPUTY OF THE 3RD QUARTER!!!!  Back story......back in April Jacob applied for another job and got passed over.  He took that rejection and really did some reflection on what he was doing with his job.  He decided he was going to work even harder to be the best police office he could be.  He worked his tail off and ended up getting about 90 arrests in a 6 month period and everyone has noticed!  They now call him Bock 2.0 and he was awarded this great honor at his station.  He took what could have been defeat and turned it into something positive and for that, we could not be more proud of him!

Starlight Singers

The girls joined a singing group this year called the Starlight Singers and it has been wonderful!  Their teacher is Natalie Sanford and she has done a wonderful job teaching them all about singing.  They had a recital this past week and they both did amazing!  Both girls had solos and we were so proud of them!   I only took one picture because the rest of them were videos!

Polar Express First Grade Performance

I love being able to attend all of the school performances that my children participate in.  The Christmas ones are always a favorite!  Kenna and her BFF Tatum had a lot of fun performing the Polar Express.  Kenna was singing the song for weeks so I know she loved it!

Breakfast With My Team!

I seriously have the best team ever at my job with Inspire.  I got to go and have breakfast with my Director Amy, my RLTs Zena, Jenna and Mary, and the other EA coordinator Stacy.  It was so much fun and I am thankful to be a part of such an amazing school and team!

Decorating for Christmas!

It is my favorite time of year and we finally got to decorate our house and tree for Christmas!  Of course we had one broken ornament as I think it tends to be a requirement every year.  And also each kid likes to try and put on the star.  I love my beautiful family!
