Makenna turns 4!

We had a great time celebrating Makenna's 4th birthday.  A lot of our family and friends came over and we had a great time playing and eating. 10 things about Kenna:

1. She still loves Sofia but now she loves anything Jasmine.
2. She can play by herself for hours and be perfectly happy.
3. She loves to sing, but not in front of anybody.
4. Her favorite meal is meatballs and rice and she asks for it pretty much every day.
5. She loves to drink milk and has to have some for breakfast every day.
6. She loves preschool and is starting to come out of her shell a little bit.
7. She is very stubborn and quick to react but she is also a very well behaved 4 year old.
8. She loves to play with Lincoln and make him happy.
9. She wants to do "homework" every day like her sisters.
10. If she talks to you, then she really likes you.  She doesn't talk to anybody that she is not comfortable with.

First Day of School

It is the first day of school again!  Emma is starting 3rd grade and will be in Dr. Stogner's class.  Madison is starting 1st grade and will be in Mrs. Berton's class.

Makenna's First Day of Preschool

Makenna is finally starting preschool!  She has anxiously been awaiting this day and she had a lot of fun.  Her teacher is Miss Darcy and she is excited to go back.

Visit from friends

Our good friends Jacob and Jessica Prince came down to visit us as well as the sights around here.  We had a lot of fun having them stay at our house and we also joined them when they went to Sea World.  We loved having them here and can't wait until next time!

Ear Tubes are Out!

I had to share this cute little story about Kenna.  We took Kenna to get her ear tubes out this week.  She was a little scared so she really clung to daddy who just laid in the bed with her.  She is so shy and equally stubborn that she would not talk to anybody who came to talk to her.  The doctors asked if we wanted to give her a some medicine that would help sedate her so she wouldn't scream when they took her away.  We knew it wouldn't be a problem so we said no.  You see, she is so stubborn about showing emotion to anyone that we knew she wouldn't even cry for them.  We were right!  They came and picked her up and took her away.  The procedure was really quick and when they came back they said she never made a peep the entire time and they wished more patients were like her.  That's our Kenna!!
