Sick, Sick, Sick!!

This month we had the worst sickness that our little family has ever had so I just need to document it!! I can't even count how many doctor visits we had or prescriptions that we filled so I will just list exactly what went wrong with each of us. Also, this was all in a matter of 2-3 weeks and the stomach flu that came was while we were STILL sick with the colds, etc. It was pretty horrible!
Jacob - cold/flu (which was a nasty one), stomach flu
Katie - cold/flu, bronchitis, double ear infection, stomach flu, sinus infection (in that order!)
Emma - cold/flu, 10 days of fever, turned into pneumonia, had to take steroids to help with the asthmatic cough
Maddie - cold/flu, double ear infection, stomach flu (She was such a trooper and made it to the toilet to throw up almost every time. She only had 3 "accidents"!)
Makenna - cold/flu, double ear infection (She is such a good baby, I had no idea she had a double ear infection. Never whined at all and they were bulging by the time we checked it out!)

It was ALMOST laughable because the sickness seemed to be never ending. The amount of medicine that I was "handing" out everyday was insane. I am thankful that we are all better now!

St. Patty's Day

My girls are getting old enough now that I am TRYING to do some fun things with them, especially on the holidays. We all know that I work from home so its hard to squeeze everything in that I want but we manage to get some things in. For St. Patty's Day this year, a little Leprechaun sent us on a fun treasure hunt. The girls quickly got the hang of it and we definitely enjoyed running around the house finding all of the clues. We also enjoyed green food all day which the girls especially loved!

Fun Times With Daddy!

I have to say that our Daddy is one of the best Daddy's around! One this particular day, Jacob was supposed to take the two older girls to go and see a movie but he ended up not feeling very well. So instead, they helped him build this awesome fort! Then, I went and bought a new movie and picked up some pizza so we could have lunch in the tent while watching it. The girls loved it! We really enjoyed this time with them in the fort!

Autographs at Disneyland!

We have season passes to Disneyland so it is no surprise that we have had many trips there. However, on this trip, we decided to get the girls some autograph books so they could start collecting the autographs from everyone that we see. Boy, was it ever good timing! We saw more characters that day that we have ever seen in one trip! I had to document everyone that we saw.

Makenna's First Solid Food

Makenna had her first solid food this week! She makes such a mess! She is just like Maddie and can't quite figure out that tongue. Most of the food gets pushed out by her tongue while she is trying so hard to get it in. It's pretty funny. She's cute even with food all over her!

Baby Dolls!

Since we have a house full of girls, naturally we have a lot of baby dolls. Here are all three of them with one of their favorite dolls. It just makes me laugh that we caught all three of them with dolls at the same time!

Makenna's Learning New Things!

First of all, I just have to say that Makenna is the best baby every!! She is so mellow and so sweet. She loves to lay down and play with her toys but her favorite thing is to sit in her bouncy seat and kick her legs so that she bounces up and down. It is so funny!! She never whines or cries and she is just so happy all of the time! Here she is learning how to hold her head up, playing with one of her favorite toys and just being cute!
