Halloween 2011!
This year we had a lot of fun dressing up for Halloween. We went as three princesses, Prince Charming and the Evil Queen. We went to our Ward Trunk-or-Treat and had a lot of fun with our church friends getting candy. Then we went trick-or-treating with all of our cousins. It was a lot of fun this year! Emma also got to dress up for preschool and do a little costume parade. All of the little kids we so cute in their costumes - and quite hilarious too!

Temples Around the World - LA Temple
Our next stop in the "Temples Around the World" goal is the LA temple. This time we went with my brother Spencer and his family. We walked around the temple grounds again but the LA temple also had the visitors center to check out. We loved it! They had some great stuff for adults and some fun stuff for the kids. That's 2 down and a lot to go!

Emma Turns 4!
Well, my little baby girl is officially not a baby girl anymore! She is now four years old and a big girl! We spent her birthday at Grandma Jones' house with our family and had a lot of fun. Here is a little about Emma.
1. She loves to help - especially cooking. When I ask her to help me with something, she says, "Sure can!".
2. She loves to play with paper and fold it - don't ask me where that came from.
3. She knows all of her letters and sounds and can now write her name.
4. Her favorite game is hide and go seek with daddy.
5. Her favorite color is purple and she will always pick the purple bowl or plate.
6. She talks a lot! She is always the last one finished with her food because she won't stop talking.
7. She loves to say prayers - her and Maddie fight over who gets to say it at every meal.
8. She has grown up so much in the last few months. She is no longer afraid to do a lot of things she used to not like - like swimming, getting up on stage at church, and leaving mom and dad.
9. She loves to sing and dance.
10. She has the cutest smile and a very contagious laugh and I love my big girl!!

Temples Around the World - Redlands Temple
Jacob and I have decided we want to try and visit as many temples as we can with our girls and take a picture in front of each one. Easier said than done....I know. However, we can at least start here in California. We went to the Redlands temple first and the girls had a lot of fun. We walked around the temples grounds, talked about temple marriage and took at lot of fun pictures. We ended it with a great picnic in front of the temple. Now, Emma talks about the day that she will get married in the temple! I guess that is what this is all about!

Emma's First Day of Preschool
Emma started preschool this year and she is already doing so good!! She walked right into preschool on the first day without even saying goodbye to us! We had to go and tell her goodbye and she barely looked at us before she started playing again. Miss Heather is her teacher and her two cousins, Rylee and Taylen, are in the class with her. So far, she loves it and is already able to write her name. We are thrilled to see everything that she will learn this year!
