Emma Turns Two!!

We celebrated Emma's birthday yesterday and had a lot of fun! We opened presents and had some yummy cake and ice cream and then just enjoyed hanging out with the family. Emma LOVES coupe cars and when we go to other people's houses that have them, she spends all of her time there and gets really angry if other kids try to get in "her" car. So I knew I had to get her one for her birthday and I was SOOOOOO excited to give it to her. She did not disappoint me as she has been playing with it since we gave it to her! Thanks to Aunt MB who helped me with everything and made Emma's weekend so fun! Thank you to all of our family who came and for the thoughtful presents....Emma loves them!

My crazy girls!

I just can't get enough of these girls! They are so much fun even though they really keep me on my toes!! Here are a couple of fun pics of them.

My friend Carrie came over the other day to get some pics of the girls. Maddie was not so cooperative (what baby is) but Emma had a good time playing and posing for the camera. Enjoy!!

Maddie's Blessing Day

We had Maddie blessed today and it went really well. We actually didn't mean to match as a family but it's pretty funny that we did! Most of our family was able to come and it turned out to be a really special day. I am so thankful for such a beautiful family and for a husband who has the priesthood to be able to bless our children.

Summer Fun!

We have really tried to make an extra effort to do some things with Emma this summer. She has had so much fun! We bought her a cheap $10 pool and she has loved splashing around in it. We have also taken her to the park and just had a good time! We love our little girls!

She is just too cute not to share with you. Don't you just love sleeping babies? So far she is an amazing baby who just does the normal baby things......minus the intense spitting up. But we'll take that over the crying we had with Emma!

Madison Brooklynn Bock

Announcing the arrival of our beautiful Madison Brooklynn Bock! We had a c-section scheduled for June 17th at 11:00 am and it couldn't have gone better. My last c-section did not go so well so I was a little nervous but it went as good as it could have gone. They had me ready to go by 11:30 and Maddie was out at 11:43 am. She weighed 8 lbs 5 ounces, was 20 inches long and only had 10 toes. (For those of you who don't know, Emma was born with 12!) I guess I can thank Jacob for such big babies since Emma was 1 ounce more! We stayed in the hospital for only two days and we have now been home enjoying life with two daughters. Jacob has been an amazing husband taking care of all three of us and I get to enjoy another week with him still! We are so thankful for our beautiful girls! (On a sidenote, I know I look like trash in the one pic I am in but it was our first family pic and only 5 hours after I got out of surgery so cut me some slack!!)
